HB 28 Caption: Relating to amending certain Acts so as to provide old age assistance to qualifying persons not to exceed $45.00 per month; further providing for awarding of grants of needs of a personal nature to all old age citizens residing in County Hospitals; and providing further for payment of $100.00 funeral expenses upon the death of an old age citizen who is a recipient under this Act; repealing all laws or parts of laws in conflict herewith.

HB 397 Caption: Relating to amending the Penal Code relative to work and vacation of firemen and policemen in cities of not less than fifty-five thousand nine hundred eighty-two, (55,982) inhabitants and not more than fifty-seven thousand, (57,000) inhabitants; providing that each violation shall constitute a separate offense; providing penalty for the violation of the provisions of this article.
HB 461 Caption: Relating to the compensation of certain precinct officers, to-wit: sheriffs, constables, and justices of the peace; and providing the methods and means for which such officer shall be compensated for their services; providing that this Act shall become effective on and after January 1, 1944; providing that this Act shall be cumulative of all existing laws not in conflict herewith.

HB 386 Caption: Relating to amending a certain Act removing the prohibition against catching or taking fish from the waters of Lake Waco and the Bosque Rivers and their tributaries in the Counties of McLennan and Bosque during the month of February; legalizing the catching, taking and using shad for bait in said waters.
HB 532 Caption: Relating to amending a certain Article of the Revised Civil Statutes regarding the creation of certain County Juvenile Boards so as to make the provisions thereof applicable to counties having a population of 105,000 or more.
HB 536 Caption: Relating to providing for the establishment of a Juvenile Board in certain counties; providing for the compensation, powers and duties of said Board and prescribing their powers and duties.
