HB 246 Caption: Relating to repealing certain statutes relating to independent school districts having fewer than one hundred and fifty (150) scholastics, so as to permit such districts in the manner prescribed to elect to be governed in the general administration of their school by the laws which apply to other independent school districts.
HB 508 Caption: Relating to amending certain acts providing that the Commissioners' Courts of the several counties of the State shall decide whether to levy, assess and collect an ad valorem tax upon all property within their respective boundaries for county purposes, except on the first Three Thousand ($3,000) Dollars valuation of residential homesteads, not to exceed thirty (30) cents on each One Hundred ($100) Dollars valuation in addition to all other ad valorem taxes authorized by the Constitution of the State of Texas.
HB 536 Caption: Relating to amending certain statutes by providing that the term "waste" as therein defined shall include economic waste, and providing that waste shall include the production, taking, sale or purchase of gas from gas wells or gas fields in this state at a price or under conditions determined by the Railroad Commission to constitute waste.
HB 537 Caption: Relating to amending certain statutes by providing that the term "waste" as therein defined shall include economic waste, and providing that waste shall include the production or taking of gas from any gas well in this state, located in a common reservoir from which both sweet and sour gas are produced, or located in a common reservoir underlying a surface area of at least three hundred thousand (300,000) acres, or the sale, purchase or use of such gas before, during or at the conclusion of gathering at a price less than the minimum prescribed.
HB 538 Caption: Relating to amending certain statutes by providing that the term "waste" as therein defined shall include economic waste, and providing that waste shall include the production of or taking of gas from any gas well in this state, or the sale, purchase or use of such gas before, during or at the conclusion of gathering, at a price less than the minimum prescribed, except gas used for certain specified purposes.

HB 40 Caption: Relating to finding and declaring that the cyclone that occurred at the City of Higgins on the evening of April 10, 1947, is a case of great public calamity in the City of Higgins, the Higgins Independent School District and in the County of Lipscomb. To donate certain State and ad valorem taxes collected in Lipsomb County to Higgens ISD, and the City of Higgens, TX equally for the purpose of reconstruction and improvement of said City and the said ISD.
HB 158 Caption: Relating to the approval of subdivision plats within the corporate limits or within five (5) miles of the corporate limits, of certain cities so as to provide that the benefits and the terms thereof shall extend to all cities.
HB 224 Caption: Relating to conveying the title of the State of Texas to Lot No. 17, in Block No. 71, of the Original Townsite of Borger, Hutchinson County, Texas, as is shown by the recorded map or plat thereof in the Deed Records of said County, acquired by the State under Tax Sale.
HB 350 Caption: Relating to validate the charters of incorporations of all cities and towns whose charters may be void by reason of failure to properly define their limits, or that may have included in such limits more territory than was provided for in certain Article; providing a saving clause.
HB 351 Caption: Relating to authorizing the Governor to designate the Chairman of the State board of Water Engineers as Compact Commissioner to represent the State of Texas in conference with Compact Commissioners for the States of New Mexico and Oklahoma, and a representative of the Government of the United States to negotiate an agreement respecting the use, control and disposition of the waters of the Canadian River; prescribing the authority and duties of the Compact Commissioner; providing that necessary expenses of Compact Commissioner shall be paid out of funds made available by the Legislature for such purpose; providing that the Chairman of the State Board of Water Engineers shall not be entitled to any additional salary by reason of services rendered as Compact Commissioner; prescribing the method of reaching such agreement and submitting it to the Legislature for ratification; making an appropriation.
HB 388 Caption: Relating to authorizing Junior College Districts to issue refunding bonds; prescribing the method of issuing such bonds; requiring approval thereof by the Attorney General and prescribing the effect thereof; enacting other provisions relating to the subject.
HB 426 Caption: Relating to creating a District Court of Domestic Relations of Hutchinson County, Texas; fixing its jurisdiction; fixing its term; providing a clerk; providing for appointment of judge of said Court; containing a saving clause.
HB 848 Caption: Relating to authorizing counties having a population of not less than two thousand (2,000) nor more than two thousand, three hundred (2,300) and counties having a population of not less than two thousand five hundred (2,500) nor more than two thousand eight hundred (2,800) inhabitants according to the last preceding Federal Census to expend moneys for the purpose of maintenance and upkeep of the public cemeteries.

HB 81 Caption: Relating to authorizing the Department to assign serial numbers for trailers and semi-trailers; providing for the manufacturer's serial number and assigned serial number to be used as the major identification of trailers and semi-trailers in the issuance of certificates of title and registration receipts; providing a penalty; providing a saving clause; repealing all laws in conflict.
HB 134 Caption: Relating to amending a previous Act, authorizing the Department to use permanent identification numbers instead of motor numbers as the major identification of motor vehicles, at such time as the permanent identification number is universally adopted as the major identification of a motor vehicle by Motor Vehicle Manufacturers; providing for Texas license number to be shown; providing a saving clause; repealing all other laws in conflict herewith.
HB 305 Caption: Relating to amending a previous Act, by providing that the beginning of the fiscal year in so far as the levying, assessing and collection of taxes for the Dumas Independent School District of Moore County, Texas is concerned shall be the first day of January instead of the first day of August of each calendar year.
HB 370 Caption: Relating to creating a State Board of Plumbing Examiners; prohibiting the doing of plumbing work or acting as plumbing inspector without license issued under the act and prescribing penalties for violations of the act; repealing all laws or parts of laws in conflict with the provisions of this Act; providing that if any section or part of this Act shall be held unconstitutional or invalid such invalidity shall not affect the remaining portions of the Act.
HB 520 Caption: Relating to amending a previous Act, to provide that the provisions and requirements for State aid shall not apply to any independent school district that obtains more than fifty percent (50%) of its support and maintenance from nonsectarian, charitable and benevolent sources.
