HB 61 Caption: Relating to authorizing the appointment, by the District Attorney of the 79th Judicial District, of an Assistant District Attorney and an investigator in the 79th Judicial District, fixing the compensation of said investigator and assistant and providing for the manner in which same shall be paid, providing for the powers and duties of said assistant and investigator; authorizing said investigator to serve as probation officer in the 79th Judicial District.

HB 183 Caption: Relating to amending certain acts by providing for the approval of the County Commissioners Court to the appointment of members of Board of Park Commissioners.
HB 193 Caption: Relating to authorizing the Commissioner's Court to create safety zones on county roads adjacent to public schools; authorizing the establishment of traffic regulations within said zones; prescribing penalties for violation thereof.
HB 225 Caption: Relating to providing that a minor child or children be given a cause of action for damages suffered as a result of the wrongful dissolution of marriage or destruction of the family circle resulting from the wrongful act of a parent or parents and a third person or persons; providing for a cause of action by a minor child or children against a third person or persons for damages suffered as a result of said third person or persons knowingly and wrongfully causing a dissolution of marriage or a destruction of the family circle.
HB 252 Caption: Relating to permitting Boards of Trustees of Independent School Districts having control of a Junior College, and having a city within their boundaries of a population of not less than seventy-five thousand (75,000) and not more than one hundred seventy-five thousand (175,000) according to the last Federal Census, to divest themselves of the control of said Junior College by placing control thereof in a Board of Regents of nine (9) members.
HB 253 Caption: Relating to authorizing Road District Number 4 of Nueces County to purchase, own, operate, maintain, repair and improve the existing causeway, bridges, and ferries between the City of Aransas Pass and the City of Port Aransas and to pay the cost of acquiring, repairing and improving same from the proceeds of bonds heretofore or hereafter voted and issued under Section 52, Article III of the Constitution.
HB 291 Caption: Relating to coercion in the placing of insurance on real or personal property; providing that no person, firm or corporation shall, as a condition to, or in connection with, any loan on or sale of real and personal property, require that the insurance on such property by purchased from any particular person, firm or carrier; preserving to each citizen the right to choose his own insurance agent or carrier.
HB 452 Caption: Relating to requiring all railroad companies to equip all section, bridge and building department, and maintenance of way department motor cars operated by any railroad in this State with electric head lamps, rear lamps, windshield, windshield wiper, and canopy or top; prescribing the time that lamps shall be lighted.
HB 460 Caption: Relating to providing for Juvenile Boards in certain counties, fixing the salaries of the members thereof.
HB 461 Caption: Relating to amending certain acts by providing for approval of bonds by the Attorney General and registration by the Comptroller of Public Accounts; making bonds eligible for purchase by certain Insurance Companies.
HB 471 Caption: Relating to providing that the State ad valorem tax levied in the Counties of Nueces, Jim Wells, Jim Hogg, Brooks, Kleberg, Willacy and Duval, heretofore donated and granted to the City of Corpus Christi, be paid to said City in an amount sufficient to discharge all obligations payable from such donation and grant and providing that any excess shall be retained by the said counties for farm to market roads or flood control; prescribing the method of computing the amount due by each county.
HB 477 Caption: Relating to providing a method for voluntary arbitration of labor disputes, detailing the procedure in arbitration cases, providing for final and binding decisions in such voluntary arbitrations, providing for filing of awards and entry of same as judgments of the District Court and for enforcement by said Court by contempt proceedings.
HB 478 Caption: Relating to authorizing cities and towns on the coast of the Gulf of Mexico to purchase, construct, own, maintain, improve, repair, operate, or lease any wharf, pier, pavilion, dock, harbor or boat basin, and such other facilities as may be deemed advisable in connection therewith, including ferries; authorizing such cities and towns to issue negotiable bonds payable from the income to be derived from the operation of the facilities and negotiable bonds to be payable from an ad valorem tax.
HB 485 Caption: Relating to amending certain acts by providing a method of annexing territory consisting of a whole county by Navigation Districts comprising the whole of a single county; providing for the Navigation Board and for the appointment of Navigation and Canal Commissioners of Navigation Districts consisting of the whole of two (2) counties when the whole of the second county is annexed under the provisions hereof.
HB 564 Caption: Relating to amending certain acts by providing for the appointment of an official interpreter of the 105th District Court in Nueces County by the District Judge thereof with the approval of the Commissioners Court; providing for the salary to be paid interpreter; providing for termination of employment of said interpreter; prescribing duties of said interpreter.
HB 570 Caption: Relating to amending certain acts so as to amend the occupation tax rate on sulphur produced within the State of Texas from One Dollar and Twenty-seven and Two Tenths Cents ($1.272) per long ton, or fraction thereof, to Five Dollars ($5.00) per long ton, or fraction thereof; providing a saving clause.
HB 573 Caption: Relating to declaring the policy of this State with reference to citizens of the Americans, declaring that public places catering to the public for business and profit are public utilities; defining the term "Mexican or Latin-American origin"; providing for the elimination of discrimination by public utilities against persons of Mexican or Latin-American origin; prescribing civil damages.
HB 706 Caption: Relating to regulating fishing in any tidewater bay or tidewater inlet of this State; providing for seizure and destruction of prohibited devices; fixing penalty for violation of this Act.
HB 733 Caption: Relating to granting and conveying to the County of Nueces, State of Texas, all right, title, and interest of the State of Texas to a strip of land across Laguna Madre now occupied by and adjacent to the right of way and necessary to an efficient and economical operation and maintenance of the Laguna Madre Causeway, and to protect the public use and enjoyment thereof, and providing for the issuance of a patent therefor, reserving all minerals unto the State of Texas in and under said land.
HB 746 Caption: Relating to granting and conveying to the County of Nueces, State of Texas, all rights, title and interest of the State of Texas to a strip of land across Laguna Madre now occupied by and adjacent to the right of way and necessary to an efficient and economical operation and maintenance of the Laguna Madre Causeway.
HB 790 Caption: Relating to permitting Boards of Trustees of Independent School Districts having control of a Junior College, to divest themselves of the control of said Junior College by placing control thereof in a Board of Regents of nine (9) members; providing for the methods of divesting said Board of Trustees of such Independent School District of such control of said Junior college and for placing same in such Board of Regents.
HB 816 Caption: Relating to validating, ratifying, approving and confirming all proceedings, including re-designation, validating the organization of fresh water supply districts; providing that this Act shall not validate any district or bond proceedings or bonds, the validity of which has been contested in any pending suit or litigation.
HB 825 Caption: Relating to amending certain acts by permitting navigation Districts which have heretofore or which may hereafter adopt plans for the construction of a grain elevator to place management of said elevator in a Board of Trustees during the time said elevator is encumbered to secure Revenue Bonds issued for the acquisition thereof; validating resolutions and indentures heretofore adopted creating such Boards of making provisions therefor.
