HB 19 Caption: Relating to amending certain Statutes to provide that any bank or trust company doing business in this State may, at its option, close for general banking purposes on Saturday or on any other weekday and that such day shall be deemed to be a legal holiday for all purposes unless such bank elects to perform limited banking services on such day; defining limited banking services; providing the manner in which such institutions shall designate such day and give public notice thereof.
HB 88 Caption: Relating to amending The Securities Act to provide that the term "security" or "securities" shall not apply to any endowment policy.
HB 89 Caption: Relating to amending Statutes to authorize certain corporations to amend their charters in regard to changing shares of stock with par face value into shares without nominal or par value.

HB 272 Caption: Relating to amending the Insurance Code; designating the purpose for which and the manner in which life insurance companies may secure, hold and convey real property; adding thereto subdivision 5 authorizing certain life insurance companies with the prior approval of the Board of Insurance Commissioners, and subject to certain other limitations, to purchase or lease lands and to erect thereon improvements for the production of income; designating such properties located within this State as "Texas Securities".

HB 99 Caption: Relating to amending and re-enacting Senate Bill 52, Chapter 19, Acts of the Forty-first Legislature, First Called Session, 1929, creating an advisory civil judicial council to be known as the Texas Judicial Council; adding to its duties a study of courts having criminal jurisdiction, the rules and procedure in criminal trials and appeals and the gathering of statistics and the making of recommendations regarding these procedures; providing that retired judges shall be eligible for membership on the Council.
HB 108 Caption: Relating to creating a special interim committee to make a study of laws of this state relating to crimes and criminal procedures; making an appropriation.
