HB 515 Caption: Relating to providing for the creation of Boards of Trustees for certain junior college districts; enacting other provisions relating to the subject; repealing all laws in conflict therewith to the extent of such conflict; providing a saving clause.
HB 678 Caption: Relating to providing that certain counties in this State whenever any grand jury shall make known to the district judge of any county that the books and records of any county officer should be audited, it shall be the duty of such district judge to appoint an auditor to audit such records and books; providing for the audit of such auditor and for the auditor's report; giving such auditor authority to summon witnesses and to have other legal process; fixing such auditor's compensation.

HB 472 Caption: Relating to prohibiting the taking of minnows for the purpose of barter or sale from certain waters in Gregg County; providing a penalty.
HB 473 Caption: Relating to validating the assessment and collection of independent school district taxes by any assessor and collector of taxes in and for any incorporated city or town in this State, in the limits of which said city or town said school district or a part thereof is located.
HB 474 Caption: Relating to amending certain Statutes to create the office of assessor and collector of each independent school district, whether created by special or general law, with certain powers and duties, and so as to authorize the Board of Trustees of any independent school district to have its taxes assessed and collected, or collected only, by the city assessor and collector of an incorporated city or town in the limits of which the school district, or a park thereof, is located; providing for remuneration for such assessment and collection.

HB 434 Caption: Relating to confirming and validating all patents and awards issued on lands lying across or partly across or abutting on water courses or navigable streams or the beds thereof and to relinquish, quitclaim and grant to patentees and awardees and their assignees all of such lands and minerals therein contained where such patents or awards have been issued and outstanding for a period of five years from the date thereof and have not been cancelled or forfeited, without impairing the rights of the general public.
HB 435 Caption: Relating to amending certain laws by providing that wherever the line or lines of any survey of land heretofore made cross a stream or part thereof and the lands or any part thereof covered by such survey lie within such streams or part thereof, and awards or patents to such surveys shall have been issued and outstanding for a period of five years from the date thereof, and have not been cancelled or forfeited, the acts and decisions of the officers of this State in the issuance of such awards or patents, shall be final and conclusive evidence that such surveys have been made in accordance with certain statutes and all prior enactments thereof.

HB 108 Caption: Relating to authorizing the Commissioners' Court of Wilbarger County, Texas, to contract and agree with the proper authorities of the State of Oklahoma for the construction of a public bridge across Red River at some point on the north line of Wilbarger County, Texas, and authorizing said Commissioners' Court of Wilbarger County, Texas, out of the Road and Bridge funds of said county to pay not more than twenty-five per cent of the cost of construction and maintenance, and authorizing the issuance of bonds or warrants for said purpose and to provide that the said bridge, when constructed, shall be a part of the public highways of the State of Texas, and to authorize the appropriation of funds by said Highway Commissioner to aid in the construction and maintenance thereof, on authority herein granted by authority of the Governor of Texas.
