HB 24 Caption: Relating to amending the Uniform Act Regulating Traffic on Highways by adding to the present law a provision allowing one (1) motor vehicle to draw not more than two (2) vehicles by the dual saddle mount method.
HB 28 Caption: Relating to amending Statutes so as to provide for a different standard for fixing the amount of the bond required for the surviving husband or wife to qualify as administrator of community property when the other spouse is insane than the standard required when the other spouse is dead.

HB 516 Caption: Relating to permitting any employee, official or deputy of the State of Texas or any County or any subdivision of either State or County, to authorize his employer to withhold from his salary contributions to a United Fund Appeals or Community Chest; providing that such authorization must be voluntary and in writing.
HB 533 Caption: Relating to amending certain Acts to provide that the fee for a Certified Copy of a "Duplicate Original" or a Certified Copy of an "Original" for a lost or destroyed Certificate of Title be One Dollar ($1.00); providing that Thirty-Five cents shall be retained by the designated agent and that the remaining Sixty-Five cents shall be forwarded to the Department; providing a saving clause as to constitutionality; repealing all laws in conflict herewith.

HB 618 Caption: Relating to defining Pension Trusts; providing that Pension Trusts are Trusts within the meaning of the Texas Trust Act; to provide that such Pension Trusts shall not be deemed perpetuities nor unreasonable accumulations; to declare the effect of this Act upon Pension Trusts created under the Laws of this State and those created elsewhere; to express the intent of the Legislature in passing this Act.
HB 795 Caption: Relating to making it the duty of the Highway Commission to determine the maximum gross weight in excess of 58,420 pounds, but not exceeding 64,650 pounds, at which commercial motor vehicles and combinations thereof, while being used exclusively to haul certain products may be operated on highways and parts thereof without materially lessening the life expectancy or materially increasing the maintenance cost thereof; naming such products; defining terms; setting forth the powers and duties of the Commission in connection with such findings; providing for amendment or modification of such findings and orders; setting forth the terms and conditions under which it shall not be in violation of the gross weight limit for commercial motor vehicles to operate with a gross weight limit over 58, 420 pounds, but not exceeding the limit fixed by the Commission when used exclusively to transport the products named herein; providing for registration of such vehicles and the payment of fees therefor; prohibiting gross weights in excess of limits fixed by Commission; providing penalties for violation of the terms of this Act; providing a savings clause.
HB 966 Caption: Relating to amending certain Acts by authorizing the Texas Turnpike Authority to use and to contract indebtedness against revenues of a Turnpike Project for the purpose of paying expenses (not exceeding $200,000.00) for studies of any other Turnpike Project, subject to the provisions and restrictions contained in any Trust Agreement affecting such revenues; enacting other provisions related to said subject; providing for precedence of this Act over conflicting laws.
