HB 16 Caption: Relating to adopting and establishing general statutory provisions applicable to business corporations; to provide for the incorporation, regulation, admission to do business in Texas, merger, consolidation, receivership, dissolution, and liquidation of those business corporations to which this Act shall apply; to provide for powers, duties, authorizations and responsibilities of affected corporations and their officers, directors and stockholders; to repeal acts in conflict herewith; and containing a savings clause.
HB 152 Caption: Relating to providing procedure for summary sale by enforcement and foreclosure of tax liens on real property by the State, county, cities, terms, districts and all other sub-divisions of government with taxing power, of such real property is unrendered and the taxes delinquent for seven (7) successive years or more, and is not the homestead of the owner, and the fair market value of same does not exceed five hundred ($500.00) dollars, eliminating the necessity of foreclosure of tax liens by suits in courts as to such real property.
HB 326 Caption: Relating to amending certain Statutes dealing with the acquisition of title to land by adverse possession, by providing for a recorded written memorandum or instrument specifying property to which adverse possession will apply; redefining adverse possession; making provision for application of adverse possession rule where errors in description of areas and boundary occurred in good faith; providing that titles previously matured shall not be invalidated or affected by this Act; repealing all laws in conflict therewith.
HB 425 Caption: Relating to amending certain Laws relating to the granting by the Commissioner of the General Land Office and the Board of Regents of the University of Texas of certain easements and right-of-ways on and across public lands.
HB 426 Caption: Relating to authorizing the Governor on behalf of the State of Texas, to execute the South Central Interstate Forest Fire Protection Compact; prescribing the text of said compact; providing an effective date for said compact; designating the State Forester as compact administrator for this State; providing rules governing appointments of certain members of the advisory committee established in said compact.
HB 468 Caption: Relating to amending and revising the Title Insurance Law, authorizing the creation of corporations for the purpose of compiling and/or acquiring and owning abstract plans in this or any other state and to compile and sell abstracts of title therefrom, and to insure the title to lands and interests therein and liens thereon, and authorizing such corporations to handle all transactions relating or incident thereto and authorizing such corporations to accumulate and lend money, to deal in securities and to act as trustee, receiver, executor, administrator, and guardian.
HB 639 Caption: Relating to abolishing the office of County Attorney of Polk County; creating the constitutional office of Criminal District Attorney of Polk County; providing for the election and tenure of office and prescribing the qualifications, powers, duties, compensation and expense of said office.
HB 640 Caption: Relating to legalizing the hunting of buck deer with dogs in Hardin County during the open season; repealing conflicting laws.
HB 814 Caption: Relating to defining the term "issuer" as used in this Act; authorizing an issuer to make deposits, plus handling charges, with the State Treasurer to provide for redemption of outstanding obligations at maturity or at call date where lawfully called for redemption; providing for the issuance, approval, registration and sale of refunding bonds of issuers where all or part of the obligation being refunded are not surrendered by the holder cancellation; prescribing the duties of the State Treasurer and State Comptroller; providing for disposition of such deposits; repealing inconsistent or conflicting provisions of other laws.
HB 903 Caption: Relating to amending Statutes in regard to the franchise tax payments due to be paid to the Secretary of State by every domestic and foreign corporation chartered or authorized to do business in Texas.

HB 52 Caption: Relating to amending certain Statutes providing for the establishment and maintenance of complete records of vested property rights in the use of public waters.
HB 220 Caption: Relating to the acquisition of title of land by adverse possession for 10 years.
HB 447 Caption: Relating to amending certain Statutes canceling all permits and certified filings for the appropriation and use of public waters granted or filed more than ten (10) years prior to the effective date of this Act and under which no part of such water has been put to beneficial use for ten (10) consecutive years next preceding the effective date of this Act.
HB 448 Caption: Relating to declaring the public policy of this State with reference to the establishment of a more comprehensive program for the prevention, abatement, and control of stream pollution; creating a five (5) member Water Pollution Advisory Council and providing its function.
HB 539 Caption: Relating to authorizing and directing the execution and delivery by the State Highway Commission of the State of Texas, acting by the Chairman thereof, of a proper instrument to the grantors in certain conveyances, their heirs or assigns, where the grantors conveyed land to the State of Texas, for the benefit of the State Highway Commission of the State of Texas, for rights of way and erroneously included the minerals; providing approval by the Attorney General.
HB 540 Caption: Relating to amending certain Statutes by providing for the fees of the tax collector for collecting delinquent taxes.
HB 592 Caption: Relating to regulating the holding of stock law elections, amending so as to include horses, mules, jacks, jennets, donkeys, hogs, sheep, and goats, and so as to make a certain article apply to elections concerning cattle only and so as to authorize the holding of such elections in subdivisions of any county of the State.
HB 593 Caption: Relating to regulating the hunting of deer in Polk County; providing a penalty for violation.

HB 79 Caption: Relating to making an appropriation to the Texas Commission on Alcoholism for the purpose of carrying out the provisions of Chapter 411, Acts, Fifty-third Legislature, 1953, including the payment of salaries, and all necessary operating and contingent expenses; providing the Commission shall not solicit funds.
HB 97 Caption: Relating to providing that the Special Ninth District Court as now constituted shall exist as a permanent district court until otherwise changed by law.
