Examine carefully and thoroughly into the condition and management of the University of Texas, the Agricultural and Mechanical College, the Prairie View Normal School, and the Sam Houston Normal Institute, and make a report to the Legislature with suggestions for the benefit of such institution as the committee may deem necessary.
